It's more than spod pricing. hydroxide and carbonate are sitting at approximately 12500 USD a tonne. China are moving in for the kill. The plants that are in commissioning in the western world are going to struggle to make a profit at these prices. Future investment is being held back by the current economics, China are going to make a motza with the current policy they have in place. The west has mandated change and at the current rate of progress in the west it will be China that makes all the cars and batteries. It's a smart move by them
