The only true price discovery would be if less spodumene gets sold via offtakes and more via these auction/sales that is hosted by the producers. I was shot down ealier when I said this but it is crazy having most of your production under offtake agreements and basing the price of these offtakes on an obscure China spot market. Rather have a greater supply of spot spodumene that you sell under your own process (or as Robek suggest perhaps producers all use PLS BMX auction).
