There becomes a point where the dodgy Chinese reporting agencies loose all credibility and become irrelevant.
Yes, I know, they already have amongst those who follow the sector.
The actions of PLS, ALB and MIN have shown how dodgy the price reporting is. Eventually, this will flow through to contract prices as more western downstream customers (and credible reporting agencies) come on line.
If nothing else, the low prices have kicked demand along with cheap batteries allowing a penetration rate in China way above forecasts.
