While I agree that semiconductors are a temporary problem, george, I believe that its effecting current ICE manufacture more than EV's, given EVs are still a small space in the overall vehicle sector. Doesn't mean there isn't a flow-through effect though, so there could be some sense in what you say. Even so, a temporary glitch.
