you may have misunderstood my post
I refer to the lack of competition from buyers of Li Chemicals/raw material. Virtually all the buyers are Chinese (90%+) and there are only a few major buyers/battery manufacturers.
Until more gigafactories open in other countries and global competition occurs Li sales pricing is subject to manipulation by buyers agreeing on a price to be paid and not competing in an open market.
It has been reported previously that the CCP can/will limit free trade and require all
onshore business to tow the line. In addition CCP (and local) subsidies for onshore/owned mining/refining has also been reported - hence the US and EU tarrifs.
