Tesla's are objectively safer and better than their Chinese counterparts. Counterintuitively though the Shanghai Giga is by far a better plant for Tesla cars.
There is NO WAY Lord Musk would be giving away 45Milli a month to the Don if his EVs weren't gonna get a fair run.
Lastly Trump the Don had a bit of a spiel on EVs and it wasn't at all negative. You must remember the US gets hammered with trade deficits and they need to do something other than fight more wars.
