just did a bit of back of an envelope calculation on how long before PLS gets into trouble ie starts making a lose
I reckon PLS's cost of production, if you include sustainable cap ex is about US$600
at moment the lithium price is about $921 and seems to be falling at about 12% ($1050 to $921) and at that rate the lithium price will be at about $600 in about 3.35 months
Now let's look at PLS and how it is responding to the falling lithium price
It's share price seems to be falling at about 8% ($3.08 to $2.83) at the moment.
I estimate then that in 3.35 months the share price will be $2.14 by the time we get to breakeven.
After that I think it'll trade around book value
cash alone is about $0.53
ie $1,600m/3,000m = $0.53
plus mine resource and plant and equipment
I wonder what that would be?
