FMG has nothing to do with PLS, but given you and others are arguing about FMG, I'll try to correct some of the nonsense that have been quoted about FMG.
Quoting FMG $18/t cost is nearly meaningless. It is at the mine gate. Everyone should know that. C1 cost is always only mine cost. Only the cost to blast, dump it in a truck and drive to the railway line. Does not include amongst others shipping/freight from mine to port, royalties, insurance, etc.
Total delivered cost on a dry basis is US$37/dmt for FMG.
You can find this on p37 of the annual report.
Rio, BHP and FMG just love to quote C1 costs because these are the costs they can control. Don't confuse that wrh their total cost to sell/deliver iron ore to customers.
