It's all chemicals. Spodumene is still a chemical compound with an electrical charge. Ask Joe Lowry aka Mr Lithium he tried vainly to get it into the heads of the Money of Mine crowd a year ago. The conclusion that China has been manipulating the price of LI seems inescapable, especially as there is no Li price it's a series of markets that are unsophisticated to say the least, but people like to pretend there is one single Li price.
This is a year old but it stands up well for analysis.
