To exercise them it costs 30cents (i.e. you will have to pay the company 30 cents for every share you buy).
However, you pay an initial price for them i.e at the moment around 12 cents so the total cost of the options would be 42 cents... these are the listed options. I dont see how these would be a problem.
The unlisted options are quite small in number and in any case like the 500K exercised and sold by a director recently is an extreamly small amount in the whole scheme of things.
Regardless the exercise of options provide steady cashflow to the company and can be seen as a positive.
