No, I didn't, but more to the point I didn't say anything about the conversation being in confidence and I wouldn't expect him to say anything that is 'off the record'. He is not legally allowed to tell me anything market sensitive in confidence.
I certainly don't claim to have uncovered anything that any other person couldn't have found out, but it might save some other shareholders from having to ring them.
MM has already flagged the distinct possibility of a CR on this thread and the rest is either on the public record from TZL or just my interpretation of the conversation, except for John's mention that he thought MB already had skin in the game. That's why I'm interested in whether that can actually be the case.
My impression is that JW is a professional operator and not like some of the cowboy directors who will tell you stuff that hasn't been announced, with a nod and a wink. He never talked about specific deals 'about to be announced' or anything that made me doubt his integrity.
Why, are you pretty close to the company? MM seems to know a lot about what is going on. Am I surrounded by anonymous TZL board members on this forum? LOL
