I am confidant AAM will do very well with Alan Downham at the coal face, shame he wasnt employed sooner to prevent the stuff ups.

Geos should stick to what they are good at and spot checking allignment of a ballmill with a rotaline for example is not what they are trained to do.

What happened with AAM in commisioning has happened to many of the mines I have invested in in over the last decade, I am thinking OMH MGX AZC MCO CTO SLR. Some recover after managment is big enough to admit they lack the experience and have professionals take charge (MCO AAM )
others make claims of increasing production (AZC CTO ) but when you read the quarterlies one sees their OPEX is greater than their revenue they either die (AZC BMO ) or go on life support (CTO)
Some tell porkies in their quarterlies and when you call the MD withhold intel ( MAL KML) and then go into admin.

Others like MGX and OMH recover due to luck (price of iron ore an manganese doubled in price)
And then there is SLR which had a few commisioning issues but kept the market fully informed and has now earned its stripes.
Its important to keep a sharp eye on whats happening with the likes of AAM and it pays to be a nervous nelly at a critical time like this so I commend the posters who are keeping others informed on here on the progress with AAM

If A1 proves it can operate with an OPEX under A$750 per ounce in the September quaterly I feel we will be on to a winner and that will be a better positive catalyst for the sp than any cup and handle.
