spoke to mlx re. phosphate

I found out they have already acquired some drill samples from the Agaton phosphate sands that are being tested .I was also told they also have contracts with a large portion of the landholders tied up also ,from memory ,nearly half of them ,but dont quote me on that .They are also about to embark on a shallow seismic program within a few weeks .I was also told that APAC ,the Hong Kong listed investment company , have approval to acquire up to 19.9% of MLX .Another useful piece of informtion about Wingellina ,is that because it is very low in Magnesium and Alumina the sulphuric acid required would be roughly half that of Murrin Murrin and Ravensworth .Sulphuric acid is the largest single cost in Laterite processing . From what I understand ,the plant will benefit from much less corrosion exposure with the lower acid use ,and would enhance reliability .They expect the feasibility study will be available to all by the end July .I got the impression this study will be an eye opener .I was also told they expect that Wingellina will likely prove up to be TWICE the size with more drilling . Regarding Renison, full ramp up will only take 2-3 months as it has been in production before and its only a matter of restarting .They have retained key operating personel that previously ran the operation.
