The shorts only have a paper profit. Doesn't mean anything, except, it probably emboldens them to add to their shorts.
What we really don't want to see is the shorts decreasing while the share price steps lower... that would be a worry.
CRZ is one of the most heavily shorted stocks on the market, and the shorts have more than doubled from the start of the year. Oh boy are they getting burnt on that one.
