Like I’ve said before -Woodside sponsoring anything is a complete waste of money - just invitescriticism from the likes of this blowhard who is making a whole lot of noiseabout what a disgrace it is that the Woodside logo appears on his kids surfclub uniform.
Here's some of his genius :“Knowing that Ihave to dress my child in fossil fuel advertising to participate in this iconicAustralian sport is intolerable”
“That’s why I’m calling on Surf Life Saving WA to dump Woodsideas a sponsor”
“And I’m not alone. Parents across WA, as well as prominentWest Australians such as climate scientist Bill Hare and Greenpeace chiefexecutive David Ritter are joining forces to get Woodside’s logo off our kids”
Seriously Meg - just pull these sponsorships - andstart with this mob - here’s your press release …..
“We’ve listened to the concerns expressed by MrAnderson and others and taken them on board. Sponsorship of Surf Lifesaving WAis withdrawn as of noon today. We wish the association all the best in itsendeavours in finding a new sponsor”
