That subject on the trial being done on healthy individuals has come up a few times in the past. It's important to understand that the trials were not intended to see if the drug works, how well it works or on what percentage of the participants that it worked for. All of that is already very known for this drug that has been in the market for years. As far as I understand it, the trials were only intended to compare safety and side effects of the nasal spray over a pill and to test how long it took for the drug to reach maximum concentration levels in the blood, i.e. how long it takes for the nasal spray to work compared to a pill. These results should be the same regardless of age, existing ED problem, or no ED problems in the participants.
