Many good reasons for further share price appreciation.

I think the most recent appreciation could be ahead of the final official results of the pivotal trial to be announced imminently - I wouldn't be surprised to see it this week. This pivotal trial is the last trial (similar to a phase 3 for a standard drug) before market approval unless the FDA says otherwise which at the moment is highly unlikely.

For those in the know on biotech that is a big deal because that is usually years of risk and investment to get to the end of a phase 3 and be in a position to file for approval with a regulator, particularly as many drugs fail meeting targets along the way through each phase.

On all accounts, the results of the pivotal trial is expected to be confirming the initial results (which was incredibly good news showing superior performance and safety). Even so, as it will be the official result, it should receive greater exposure and increased attention from the scientific and investment community (including pharma) - in the CEO's words, it will make global news.
