It's interesting to see the young couple on the front page of the SMH that are reported to have indicated to the journo that they now hope to build in a "better area" because they can get the $21,000. Surely this is not the message that should be going out in this package.
Trying to prop up a housing market that needs to halve in price isn't smart and it isn't sustainable either.
