I wonder the same thing Dave. This bipartisanship in all countries to address these issues has an eeriness about it.
One can't help but think that things are in a much more dire position than we already believe....and that's saying something!! I guess even the inimitable George Bush did look very worried and told us so in very unambiguous language. Perhaps we just didn't want to hear it as clearly as he wanted to convey it.

Perhaps we're just all becoming paranoid because our ill-gotten gains are being eroded away........nlol. Who knows, but time will definitely tell.
