I would have thought, in this case, lower volume but good SP increase wasn't a bad thing? The buyers are certainly putting in the bids, the sellers just aren't willing to drop their price to match it (thus keeping the volume lower?). So with nobody wanting to sell at lower prices, and motivated buyers willing to pay more and more to get in it has gone up. That's my very basic take on things, I've certainly been enjoying the increases of late - but we certainly need some news soon to keep the momentum!
