Some good short term news for the price of NPI- up 4.5% to 1030- 1050 yuan ($148-151) per nickel unit on August 14- this is following a 1% increase the week prior- Increases mainly due to short supply based on stricter inspections of vessels in Lianyungang and Ningde in Fujian province after stricter vessel regulations asserted due to imported Covid-19 cases.
- Nickel Ore prices will likely have some short term upward pressure due to the Philippines upcoming rainy season & the continued Indonesian ore ban in China which should corrolate to the price of NPI
