I listened on radio to the address. For the first half the speech was all sweetness and hope for an improved bilateral relationship. Dude was pretty confident, smug even.
Then it was question time and the press got stuck into him. His confidence became arrogance as he was clearly unused to being challenged in public. Good.
For this reason I would like to see more China spokesmen put under the microscope in forums they don't control.
