Uranex (UNX) doing a capital raising. We have seen many African deposits owned by Aust. listed companies do raisings and Polo Resources - Dattels has been amongst them and they have done rather well. Lets see if he is amongst this one.

June 19, 2009–The spot uranium price continued to firm this week, spurred upward by robust demand. Nine spot transactions are reported for the week. One non-US utility, seeking 300 thousand pounds U3O8, has selected a preferred supplier. Other buyers included utilities, traders, producers, and investors. Throughout the week, transactions were concluded at successively higher prices with several transactions concluded today at levels near today’s Spot Price Indicator. Currently, active demand stands at nearly 3 million pounds U3O8 equivalent, although there are several additional buyers contemplating possible discretionary purchases in the coming months. Sellers have responded to new buying inquiries by systematically raising offer prices. As a result, TradeTech’s Spot Price Indicator is $55.00 per pound U3O8, up $3.00 from last week
