Being exposed to spot got Paladin into trouble , contracts are your bread and butter spot market in a boom is dessert. Paladin will sign contracts as they have learned this from having to liquidate its assets to stave off Insolvency including tenements, Kayelekera mine and 25% of its main asset Langer Heinrich. This was when they had high debt and the spot price was low leaving them unable to pay.
