I believe it's Pure Manipulation as demand has increased and future supply needed to come online at a higher price. Looking long-term if nuclear is deemed clean energy and SMR's become a new standard, this is more fuel to the fire.
Sprott announced mid September they were raising $1billion usd to buy physical U308
Kazataprom this week announced they will start a fund raising $500 million usd to buy physical U308
Yellow Cake this week announced $150 million usd to buy physical U308
On top of this Cameco announced a 28% price increase in its long term contracts. ( Cameco revenue for 3 quarter down 5% with a loss of $73m , but they had to shut down due to bush fires )
I expect this this pullback to be short lived and if I wasn't already positioned , i would use it as a good entry point.
