One claims to not re-hydrate (water absorbing) whilst the other claims to be hydrophobic (water repellent).
One is a dark brown in colour, the other is black....what colour is "brown" coal and what colour is "black" coal?
One is produced under low pressure, the other under high pressure (100 bar) - just as "black" coal is produced in nature under enormous tonnes of pressure kilometres under the Earth's surface.
One is produced using low heat (40 degrees), the other using high heat (250+ degrees) - the heat required to create the chemical reaction at the molecular level to achieve the "hydrophobic" characteristic - again, replicating nature in producing "black" coal.
I could go on, but as they say, a picture paints a thousand words (and all without using highlights ;o)
Cheers K
