Seriously, do not disparage the competitor. You sound like a Lynas shareholder, disparaging Malaysian objectors, and look where that complacency got them.

Both Coldry and Exergen have world-class products. Exergen's may be a step further down the processed line (black rather than dark brown), but requires extra energy to get there.

So which is better for the chosen application? I leave that to the coal scientists, engineers and economists.

If I was the Victorian Government, I would be giving both companies a share of the action. I would not want to discourage either company, not just for exploitation of brown coal in Victoria, but also, for future export of processed coal and processing technologies.

Imagine just how much either company's technology could contribute to more efficient burning of coal in China and reduce the huge smog problems in its cities. People can go for days without seeing the sun!
