Even Jesus did not use a name for God; he called him Father and certainly not Jehovah which was a name invented well after the time of Jesus's ministry.

Whereu, Jesus most definitely used God's personal name.
(Matthew 4:10) Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”

Would you also argue Jehovah did not use a name for his Son and certainly not Jesus which was a name invented well after the time of his ministry?
(Matthew 3:17) Look! Also, a voice from the heavens said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.”
