"Undeveloped" is one key word for this deposit but the stark reality is that if all moved well from now that we would not be producing until 2024 / 2025 ?. As each investor has a different expectation of the progress & a future outcome of the company, some of my perceptions for the last 3 years are as follows :
# Fietz came to this company in 2019 with over 20 years in BHP in a multitude of roles & a mixed role at NAE as MD /CEO. Since Fietz's arrival , he has operated in a methodical & considered approach in a metal that is generally in the "unloved & misunderstood" category. Much to my liking , he has gone for the jugular in hole ZS152 & we are still to see the outcome when results are released hopefully next week. Longevity in mine life was needed when he arrived along with a greater confidence in resource estimation - we have progressed satisfactorily albeit in a slow manner. Until we have accurate information regarding PFS & final resource estimates after next phase drilling, progression to mining is a very limited possibility. I have liked his approach & also understand he completed a Harvard CFO leadership program in 2021 (assumption that he is progressive in his thinking & approach). I also credit him with our position in the North East tenements.
# Other gathered thoughts include / we have runs on the board with our high grade resource / always thought we are takeover possibility by our neighbours who have $120 million in the bank / low tin inventories worldwide - about 3 weeks ? / increasing demand inc varied uses of tin / ESG - stable location / 2019 fast track study inc altering of the cut off grade to progress project sooner / plenty of potential for future tin exploration inc Scamander where Tin One are drilling next door / crazy low market cap allowing for multi bagger potential if the ducks fall our way ??
# Another short term possibility might be the old Granville mine. Still to do a bit more research but is going very cheap from Aus Tin & is just up the road. Will look at old production data when I have a moment ??
In my opinion the recent approach has been fiscally prudent. Happy to hold and see what unveils especially with ZS152 , next years drilling , PFS & anything that might come from left field ??? Good luck to your decision on whether you hold or sell.
