No offence intended but a few things in that post expose that you don't know a lot about the U market or the politics that drive it.
China think well beyond the election cycle mentality of most other governments. They're positioning themselves to be the dominant power in the world for the next 100 years.
U pricing is in lbs.
Sure you can buy it now at $20/lb but that situation is volatile, better to own huge tracts of it in the ground under working mines all over the world if you really want long terms consistency of supply.
