The OTC trading looks like a record high at 371000 at a price of AUD16.5

I don't check daily shorts each day but for 3.July it was 163807 This is one of the highest volumes I recall for their daily shorts . Someone was working hard to keep a lid on the price as the tax loss sellers and new buyers came in on Monday.
If I add the cumulative shorts at 28 June to the 3.July daily shorts I get 490.4k There may have been other shorts to add for 29.6 and 30.6. But adding the few OTC shorts of 31.8k I get 522k which is one of the highest short totals I recall. The shorts will bleed when we regain that 0.26 price of a few months ago after good news and then reach our high of 0.585 gained in March 22.
We are still one tenth of ARUs MC. They are ahead of us wrt FS and mine design work but they have high radioactive components to mitigate, they are not in America which is throwing billions at the REE sector and they have a vastly smaller resource. ARU has been heavily shorted during June and before and beaten back from a recent high of 0.70 to 0.33 today. As we evolve and list in the USA I see a times 20 increase just to put us on a par with ARUs high. But when our massive resources at Halleck and La Paz are fully explored in area and depth which should see a 5-10 fold increase on our current JORC and all the usa grants and beneficial USA funding kicks in I see an even higher rerate.
