This is as fascinating as many useful facts about the square of the hypotenuse, and almost as relevant to ARR. The company has no proprietary interest in the Penn State research. Its involvement seems to be providing core samples. The process itself will work anywhere in the world that sufficient water and acid can be supplied. The annual rainfall in ARR’s part of Wyoming is less than 12 inches (30cm), but if MP Materials can ship ore to China it’s likely that a closer plant can be found where there are fewer environmental concerns. Mexico?
