I have read that once a stock has reached the 10% mark on shorts, it means it is old news to short it and the smart investors have already moved on or are about to move on to other targets leaving just the johnny come lately left holding the baby. Short selling drives the price down, at 11% it has already happened. Notice today FMG is down already 2.18% where as AGO is down only .067% that is because AGO is down yoy 20% where as FMG is still up by 30%. Which one would you short?
