    I have been doing some reading on spouse contributions.
    Can someone with some smarts please confirm that my conclusion is correct.

    I pay $3000 of my after tax income into my wife's account (she has no income)
    I then pay 15% contributions tax on this $3k ($450)

    My personal income tax is then reduced by $540

    Does this sound correct?

    Is there a better way to contribute to my wife's super? I am PAYE
