callen, the additional funds mean TXN can do more sooner, and that it may also also allow them to push back the next cap raising by some months.
Not only are cap raisings are costly for fees, but pushing it back by taking more funds today may see the share appreciate to much higher levels for the next cap raising.
So a few more million at 65 cents is perhaps the best thing to do right now.
AUT seemed to have a similar strategy to their cap raisings, always before highly anticipated well results... it seemed to work for them.
