I suspect that if yoou held MCL yesterday at close of trading you will get entitlement, but if you purchase today you won't. Shares purchased yesterday, allowing for T+3 to settlement will be registered by Monday 15th, which is the record date.

Just before close of trade yesterday, a bunch of around 40 or 50 purchases, each of 12821 shares went through at 3.9 cents. This would be the minimum number of shares to buy a $500 parcel. I suspect each of those parcels will be registered in different names, allowing multiple people (who are probably the same person) to get a SPP offer of $5000 of shares at 3.7 cents.
