So you want them to just fire everyone? Hand out pay cuts? That'll really improve things.

The employees get issued shares as part of their compensation. They get "rewarded" by those shares going up in value, which they are not. And in fact they have to pay taxes on the shares based on the issuance price. Not an easy check to write if the SP has been tanking. So i wouldn't say the employees are being rewarded. They are shareholders just like us.
