Australian Super is treated as one shareholder, so the offer can't be extended to members within the fund. No SPP's for Member Direct.
If you want to participate in SPP's your going to have to start your own SMSF. SMSF's are a lot of work and your likely to do worse, so I wouldn't start one until you've got a lot of money. You can still participate in Rights issues and the like, as they are on a per share basis.
IMO Gold to be weak until December, so your best off not participating even if you could.
