The Board of Baraka Petroleum Ltd (ASX:BKP) (?Baraka? or ?the Company?) has elected to close
the SPP on Friday 4 March 2011 based on critical comments by a number of shareholders relating to the extension thereof and will allow qualifying shareholders until Friday to lodge any last minute applications or requests for increased allotments up to the maximum allowed.
The extended period of some 14 days has been sufficient time for those qualifying shareholders to consider the various issues raised in the previous announcement and the Board will now consider discussion with other parties in relation to the shortfall, should they deem additional
funds are required.
