After 3 years of patience and tolerance with directors, in what might have been an interesting play, I too have given up and will not participate in the SPP. Distance, language, climate, partners, and lack of cash return have all conspired to defeat the company objectives. There has been so little oil flow from reworked fields that it seems a remote chance that Santos will proceed with further drilling. New cash would prop up directors and principals salaries for only one more year, let alone allow major drilling to continue. Another lost cause to add to my list!
