    Strong downtrend? Zoom out of your 5-minute chatrt please. Have a look at a daily/weekly/monthly. If you still see a downtrend my friend - your monitor is upside down.

    As for "magical descending triangles", for every case you can show me where descending triangles resulted in a price decline, I can find you at least 10 where the price went UP. Drawing lines and patters on a chart - does not drive the price.
