This guess is IMO..

The reasoning behind the extension was to separate SH uptake from everyone else e.g. first grabs, expecting holders to jump at the chance but since the uptake was less than expected, they extended to 'everybody else'.

A further extension would be clutching at straws IMO. Who have we left out? The group that happened to change their mind or not have the cash at the time which is possibly quite small hence I'm going to GUESS that it won't be extended.

They have the cash to continue their current timeline e.g. extraction of gold meaning that if they did extend, I doubt it would speed or slow actual operations in the coming month or two, just the SP.
