Every day the SP is below the SPP the punter ( Investor) can by better. Hence the SPP is likely to be undersubscribed unless a significant event occurs.

This can be changed be several events IMO.

1. Significant JV announcement ( This is the ace )

2. There can also be a lead from the US which closed 4c above the US ADR offer.

3. A further increase in the oil price will likely promote the ADR price with a possible following on the ASX. You will have noticed that there have been several large OS X trades on the ASX.

4. Takeover offer.
