don't think many will take up the full $15k also don't think NWT needs the full $5m.
I believe they need $5m in the bank and they are 1/2 way there already.
My logic is your accounts cant be in doubt if you have enough money in the bank to cover you should you have a shocker of a year.
As Newsat is having a ripper of a year (IMHO) this SPP may border on not necessary, however when you're raising funds having money in the bank can't hurt your application.
A point to consider:
Newsat were offered (I think) $50m for just one Teleport and turned the offer down. This means both are worth around $100m?
Even if you forget about good will, contract values and sundry assets you still have NWT at an actual value of $100m when the market cap is halve that! The books don't show the true value of the co. IMHO, one reason could be assets must be depreciated which comes off profit. I'm not an accountant and there may be another take on this, regardless NWT IMHO is undervalued big time.
