Did you look into IG markets share trading account by ahy chance? Their fees are $5 per trade if you've made at least 3 trades in the previous quarter.
I use their CFD account so it would ge easy for me to setup a share trading account. I dropped them an email to ask whether offer a CHESS or custodian account, whether can do SPP directly through their platform without assistance & minimum investment amounts.
