I too can validate the findings as went through the exact same process with OPY via IG and a Full service broker Chess holding and had the same experience. One to watch out for - and this is true of any holding - are early closures of SPP. Most likely this is a result of heavy oversubscription and you are going to get scaled back to 0 on you IG holding anyways as you do have less than the desired minimum holding. However, IG has very limited time to 'react' to an early closure notice so I believe as Tarvold mentioned before .. be sure to respond to the IG Corporate Action email earlier than you normally may .. all things being equal.
