It's really difficult to keep track of your buying power with such a sh*t platform & poor communication with when cash is coming back. An online system that allows you to see & allocate your buying power to each SPP would be such a better system but as I posted before it's being done on the cheap.
Do we really need all the portfolio crap on the IB platform? Just have a balance that shows the 300 shares & then the SPP purchases separately. I guess the issue is that we need to be the registered owners of each share & having a broker account is required for that. Judging at how poor the IB platform is I reckon that IB were the only ones willing to do it!
