reilec, normally you'd be right in thinking sp would pull back to around spp price, but the situation with DYE is a bit different....
decision to issue spp was taken back in feb? when sp was around 18c. issue price to shareholders was set at 16.6c because that was entry for Tasnee c/note and DYE wanted to offer same terms to shareholders. They flagged their intention to do so back then. Not sure why it's taken so long, maybe waiting for Tasnee conversion to happen, but DYE has made significant ann since then about its solid state tech which boosted the sp recently.
so, there's little logical reason why DYE sp should pull back to 16.6c spp price - though it wasn't going to go on forever rising at recent rates. The market's a strange animal though and doesn't always operate logically so it could fall a lot further.
thing to keep in mind is that despite its breakthrough tech DYE remains a pre-revenue, proof of concept tech company with a long road ahead to capture any market dollars....
