In statements made in support of the SPP Mr Gallagher proposes that, amongst other projects, funds subscribed to the SPP be utilised in PNG LNG backfill & expansion opportunities and in support of Darwin LPG backfill opportunities.
The word backfill conjures up an image of holes dug being refilled. I’m guessing however in this operating model filling holes is not maybe what he has in mind.
So in the context of LPG drilling & development projects exactly what does “backfill” mean, & how or what opportunities exist at PNG LNG & Darwin LPG where expenditure by STO would benefit growth & shareholders?
