Transfer of ownership and entitlement are two different issue. Remember that shares can be bought and sold on the same day.
A few months ago I sold some shares on the last day of entitlement for options. ie day before XE.
Consequently I was not recorded as a shareholder at cob and did not receive the options.
If you sell the shares after they go XE you have the entitlement. Just look for the XE on Commsec or whatever.
XE has not yet appeared for MAK.
